Equality and diversity

Embracing diversity, committed to equality….

“Cambridge City Council is committed to promoting equality and diversity in all that we do,
and to eradicating discrimination and disadvantage. The Council was awarded ‘Excellent’ status by the Audit Commission in 2004 and has Level 3 of the Equality Standard for Local Government. Stonewall’s 2008 Corporate Equality Index puts us in the UK’s top 25 employers for lesbian, gay and bisexual staff, also demonstrates good practice beyond compliance. We are determined to build upon these successes.”
